Excellence Awards 2008 presented at phion Partner & Customer Summit

Alpbach, Innsbruck, May 26, 2008 – phion has ceremoniously presented its Excellence Awards to this year’s winners during the Partner Day marking part of phion’s 2008 Partner & Customer Summit held from the 25th to the 27th of May. A total of 13 partners from six countries were honoured in this way for their outstanding performance.

Dr. Wieland Alge, CEO at phion, notes “The winners of the phion Excellence Awards have set new standards in the categories concerned through their exceptional dedication. They show clearly that phion’s product philosophy in the area of high-availability company communication and simple centralised management in highly diverse sectors and regions offers sustainable added value. We thank our partners for their outstanding cooperation, based as it is on mutual trust.”

The phion Excellence Awards are bestowed in six categories. The prizewinners for Technology Excellence are Mils Electronic and anovis it-services and trading gmbh (both from Austria). WHF International (Liechtenstein) and Kapsch Business Com (Austria) both received the 2008 Customer Service Excellence Award. Four companies in total distinguished themselves through their sales activities: Omnisec AG (Switzerland), Axians (Germany), Telekom Austria Linz (Austria) and Telekom Austria Salzburg (Austria) all received the Sales Excellence Award for 2008. As the best managed security service providers (MSSP), Atos Origin and Infraserv Gendorf (both from Germany) carried off the MSSP Excellence Award. LSE (Germany) and ACA Pacific (Asia-Pacific region) took possession of this year’s Business Development Award. Lastly, Kapsch Hungary secured for themselves the “phion Pioneer” award.
